The stories at the heart of Grenfell 💚

In the early hours of the 14th June 2017, a fire broke out in Grenfell tower a block of flats in one of the wealthiest boroughs in West London. This tragedy caused the deaths of 72 innocent lives - the greatest loss of life, on English soil since World War II and the displacement of hundreds of residents from their homes.

The lives of those who once called Grenfell home and this community who lost loved ones in this tragedy have been forever changed. I lost my sisters family that night and as a community we lost 72 angels and their names and stories will never be forgotten.

This photo series refocuses the lens on the heart of the matter - the memories of those we’ve lost and those directly impacted by the tragedy. In documenting the true stories of the bereaved and survivors, our hope is to highlight the humanity and courage of the Grenfell community.
